Tisbury Flower Group
Member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS)

about us

We meet in the Hinton Hall in Tisbury on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7.15pm for demonstrations and workshops. Visitors and new members are always welcome. We have between 35 and 40 enthusiastic members and recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. We have developed many useful contacts. We know which flowers will be in season and how to obtain good value for money.   We enjoy planning, arranging and exhibiting flowers.

For further information about the Group and its future activities please contact Rita Marshall, the Chairman on 01747 822931.

Tisbury is in South Wiltshire between Shaftesbury and Salisbury. Our aim is to encourage and help members to understand, by careful and imaginative choice of design, colour, container and background, the real pleasure and satisfaction that can be obtained from working with all types of plant material.

We aim to give pleasure by

  • arranging flowers in hospitals,
  • supporting the floral arrangement sections in horticultural and other shows, and
  • participating in Festivals and Exhibitions, assisting worthy causes and charities.

The Group is educational, recreational, cultural and charitable and is non-political and non-denominational.
