Members of the Society generally meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Hinton Hall in Tisbury. Visitors are welcome at a charge of £1.

Depart Tisbury 9.45am, includes conducted tour and free time.
 
11 August
Tuesday 2.20pm
Visit to Arundells, the home of Prime Minister Edward Heath
from 2.20pm in Salisbury Cathedral Close
(three consecutive groups)
 
8 September 'Sarum Morris' -   Talk and Display
on the ancient pastime of morris dancing.

AIMS OF THE SOCIETY

  •    To promote interest in history, especially the local history of Tisbury
        and its neighbourhood
  •    To carry out research
  •    To promote interest in archaeology and all associated studies
  •    To establish a local museum and archives to be available to all
