HANNAH M TYLER 28 b. London
ELEANOR C TYLER 6 b. Manchester
JESSIE H TYLER 4 b. Manchester

MILLS HANNAH MARIA Chorlton 8c 633
TYLER ALFRED Chorlton 8c 633

added 1891 census: Cyril Tyler was born in New Brunswick in the 1891 Census in Stockport , and shows the military connexion too. I guess Alfred & 'uncle' Cyril are brothers.
All children, except the youngest, born in Poona. I have Martha Stoodly Tyler's birth & christening Nov & Dec 1879 in Poona but no mother's surname. And the old mother Martha Tyler was born in Quebec

'Jane Bott'
The BOTT families were Farmers settled in Lilleshall, nr Newport, Shropshire.
JANE BOTT is probably a daughter of:
THOMAS BOTT & LETITIA BULLOCK
[Marriage: 28 SEP 1823 Church Aston, Shropshire]
A daughter JANE BOTT was christened 06 NOV 1836, Lilleshall, Shropshire
Another daughter is
ELIZABETH BOTT [b.18 DEC 1829, Lilleshall, Shropshire]
She married JOSEPH TYLER in 1862 and their son
WILLIAM BOTT TYLER was born in Manchester in 1864.
Joseph died a few years later and the widowed Elizabeth with son W B is with the Bott families in Lilleshall at the 1871 Census.

Capt. Rowland Hill Fawcett [Duke of Wellington's Regt] b. Belgoan, India 1840/1 Retired as Lt Col. to Cheltenham. Died 1914 m. Eliza R Wood 1868. Son: Sir Charles G H Fawcett (Kt 1927).

I think this will be sufficient guide for anyone tracing these families.
Unfortunately I have not so far established the military connections but suspect
they may go back to India.
