From Jonathan Kemp, November 2007: Hi Robert - I'm back row, furthest on the right - just above Ailie McAdam (my favoured country dancing partner - and now in charge of the restoration of St Pancras station). Christopher is my younger brother - now a film-maker in Bath. I reckon the date of 1970 is about right. This photo is in front of the old school and we moved to the new site across the field not long after I started there. Mr Nelson was headmaster at the time - a very nice man. We lived in Stanmore Place (I think it was "Place") in Church Rd and my dad, John, was a founder member of the village society with Gillie McAdam and others, and started the flower show - in which he often won many classes! I'm sure many villagers will remember him well. My mother Carol, was a teacher at the school for a while too.
