The Red Cow is believed to date from Norman times.

It closed for several months in early 2007 but new owners Chris and Alice Cozens refurbished the pub and reopened it on the 9th June 2007.

It is now widely acclaimed for its excellent food and very good cask beer. Weekends are especially busy.
