Conditions of entry to see a film

Due to the high number of unaccompanied children coming to see films on various days, it is imperative that Hall staff maintain a high degree of discipline and control within the Halls property.

As Cross Hands Cinema is run by volunteers, and the Trustees of Cross Hands Public Hall take the abuse of its staff seriously. Any person found being abusive to others, including staff at the Cinema and Hall, will be asked to leave. This will be done, IRRESPECTIVE OF AGE. Hall Management wish to make it clear that unruly and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated, and culprits and their friends will be asked to leave, or in extreme cases, Police will be called.

Parents should always ensure that their child has the means of contacting them in the event of being asked to leave or the occurrence of another unforeseen event.

All mobile phones are to be switched OFF whilst inside the building, and children of under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the balcony. This is for Health and Safety reasons and the viewing pleasure of all.

Finally we would wish to remind the public that it is an offence to smoke inside the premises of the Hall.

We would wish to inform the public that we have to be strict on the above rules due to the volume of unaccompanied children who do come to the cinema.

Thank you.
